The Voice Season 5 Live Playoffs Results Forecast

Tomorrow's gonna be the results show of The Voice Season 5 Live Playoffs last Monday and Tuesday.

2 from each team will be going home. Here are my fearless forecasts.

Team Adam:

James Wolpert and Tessanne Chin will be the top 2 vote getters from this team. James has a very good iTunes sales which will secure him a spot. Among Will Champlin, Preston Phol and Grey, in my opinion, Will gave the better performance and I hope Adam will consider that and put him through.



Team Ceelo:

Caroline Pennel is my favorite from this team and I'm pretty sure she will get a spot. Jonny Gray would be the second top vote getter. My guess would be, Ceelo will pick Kat Robichaud to go through and we'll say goodbye to Amber Nicole and Tamara Chauniece.



Team Christina:


Matthew Schuler and Jacquie Lee both gave incredible performances and I think these two will get the most votes. I hope Christina will pick Josh Logan to complete her team. Stephanie Anne Johnson and Olivia Henken will be going home.



Team Blake:

It's really hard to select who's top and who's going home from this team except from Nic Hawk which I'm pretty sure he'll be eliminated tomorrow. Cole Vosbury and Ray Budreaux will get the most votes. If Blake will choose between Austin Jenckes and Shelbie Z, I think Blake will  choose Shelbie to go through.



Well, this is just my opinion but I might still be wrong like last year. All of my choices are wrong. Let's see tomorrow.

October Goals

It's October 1st! 3 more months before the year ends. Time really flies fast. It's been a while since I posted here and since this is the first day of the month, I guess this would be the best time to start over. I won't wait for next year to start anew.

There are many things I want to accomplish and setting my goals would give me a clear view on what would I want to achieve this month and moving forward. So, let's start with this month.

These are my goals for this month:
> 0% Absenteeism rate at work. I would really do my best not to be tardy again.
> Pass all my metrics for this month. If not, I should pass the number of inbound calls that I should take. That's 60 for this month, so I should be taking at least 3 calls per day.
> My laundry should be clear by the end of my last rest day for the week.
> Go to church at least once a week.
> Expense manager should be filled up everyday.
> Jog at least once a week.
> Play badminton at least twice a month.
> Clean the room everyday.
> Study telecommunications.
> Cook 3 new dishes.
> Deposit 2 Thousand pesos in BDO.
> Post in this blog at least everyday.

The Voice Season 4 Top 12 Forecast

I haven't watched the 2 episodes of The Voice Season 4- The Live Play offs yet. Today is the results night and I don't want to be spoiled, not just yet.

So before I read those spoilers, I'll make some predictions myself and I would just based it on their past performances.

Team Blake 

These four contestants from Blake's team are really good. I really want the Swon Brothers to go through but I don't think they will get enough votes. So I'm guessing that Holly Tucker will get the most number of votes. The Swon Brothers will still be my choice for the 2nd, and it would be between Justin Rivers and Danielle Bradbery for the coach's pick. If they will be the bottom two, basing on how Blake picks from the last seasons, I have a feeling that he will choose Danielle Bradbery over Justin Rivers. I still believe though that Blake will see how good Justin River is and will put him through. This will be my top three for Team Blake

Team Usher

I don't think this Usher's team is as strong as the other three. If he had chosen Ryan Innes instead of Cathia, he might stand a chance. I think Josiah Hawley will get the most number of votes. Well, the teens might have voted for him like crazy. Cathia will be the 2nd. She's beautiful and can really sing. The bottom two would be VEDO and Michelle Chamuel, with Michelle getting the boot.

Team Shakira

This is an interesting team, with two of her finalists stolen from Team Adam. Sasha Allen will get the most number of votes. I think that among them, she's the one who can stay longer in the competition. I'm not sure who will place second. Karina Iglesias is good but I don't think she can get as much votes as Garrett Gardner and Kris Thomas. But in case Karina Iglesias will be on the bottom two, Shakira might pick her to move forward with her team. And if it's Garrett, I can remember Shakira said that he has a soft spot for Garrett in her heart, so she might choose him as well.

Team Adam

Now, this is the team to beat. All four them are incredibly good. Judith Hill is my least favorite though. I don't think though that The Voice will let her go because from the beginning, it looks like she is being groomed to win the whole thing. She's just so overrated. Sarah Simmons is also amazing. Caroline Glaser is my favorite though. There's something unique in her voice and I think she would really go a long way. I think Judith Hill will get the most number of votes and it would be Amber and Caroline in the bottom two. I hope Adam will pick Caroline if this will be the case. I'm sure that Sarah will go through.  I'm still torn between Amber and Caroline for the bottom two. But since Caroline was just stolen, Adam might choose Amber.

Here's what I want to happen. The top 3 would be Caroline Glaser, Sarah Simmons and Amber Carrington. Judith Hill will be eliminated.

But checking reality, this, I think would be the result:

Cassadee Pope - Over You

Here's the performance of Cassadee Pope that I'm talking about. She sang it with great voice and passion. That's indeed my favorite performance from The Voice Season 3 and she deserves the title.

Miranda Lambert - Over You

Since I'm scanning through the nominees of the CMT Music Awards, I can't help but notice this song. I know Miranda Lambert already won numerous awards with this song. Also, this is the first time I've actually watched the video. This song was introduced to me by Cassadee Pope when she performed it in The Voice Season 3, and that's my favorite performance of the season.

Hunter Hayes - "Wanted" (Official Video)

I heard this song a couple of times in reality shows. This is the first time I've seen this video since I got curious when I checked out the nominees for the CMT Music Awards, and this song is one of them. As far as I can remember, Dez Duron from The Voice Season 3 sang this song. It's really a good song and looks like this will be an addition to my playlist.

First Day of Go Live

Last night was our Go Live date in production and it's my first night shift after 2 years. I survived, and more days to come. I'm still not confident with what I'm doing in my job. I can't imagine taking what will I do once we started taking incoming calls. My job is not as easy as my previous jobs. Well, this is a job for Network Engineers. I just hope that I'll stay longer in this company because I really want to work here in Accenture. This is the company that I can be proud of. I just hope that my brain will function very well so that I can absorb all the things that I need to learn to perform my job better. Networking is really not my thing. My job just needs analysis so I really need my brain to work out. I'm just motivating myself that I want to stay in Accenture for more than 5 years.

I've first heard the song in American Idol Season 12 and this would then be used as the Exit Song. I'm not that big of a fan but I like his songs. Too bad, no finalist this season has the likes of Phillip Phillips, Lee Dewyze and Kris Allen.

Day 2 - Day 5 at ACN

March 19

Today's the day we met our Trainer. I also formally met my colleagues who will be with me through the whole course of the training period. We had our pre-process training.

March 20

This day marked the end of the pre-process training and we had a short assessment afterwards. I got 64 out of 65. My only mistake was I wrote "Lousianna" instead of "Louisiana."


March 21-22

These days gave me like an overview of what I would really be doing after the training. I'll be a NETWORK ENGINEER. This would really be a challenging job. Hopefully I will pass the training because I would really want to stay with this company for more than 5 years.

First Encounter with Lego House

I know this video was posted almost two years ago but this is the first that I actually watched this video. I was able to listen to the whole song because Boyce Avenue made a cover of this. I also heard that Ed Sheeran looks like Rupert Grint, so when I watched this, I said to myself that Ed Sheeran really looks like Rupert Grint. But wait, the resemblance is very close and I think that's really Ron Weasley himself. And that's right, he's the real Rupert Grint. It's a nice and funny video. Kudos to whoever thought about it.

Day 1

March 18, 2013

First day of work! We had our New Joiners' Orienation (NJO) at the Ebloc2 Bldg in IT Park from 1PM to 10PM. This site is actually nice and very conducive for working. On this day, I learned that my project will be V****** (can't really disclose it). The first day is just the typical orientation wherein you'll know more about the company you will be working for. Tomorrow, we'll be reporting in Robinson's Cybergate by 10 AM.

New Job Starts Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be my first day at Accenture! Finally I'll be idle no more. Hope everything goes well with this new company.

Reminiscing A1's ASIA TOUR 2012

Yes, that's a1 on their Asian Tour as part of the "The Greatest Hits Concert" which kicked off last February 25, 2012. I can't imagine it's been a year already. Though I was not able to watch the concert, I'm still glad that I was able to watch them perform few of their greatest hit songs at the Magellan's Landing Pub a week before their concert. When they came back here in Cebu last November, they performed almost the same set list. Two songs from their Rediscovered album, Trust Me and Christopher Columbus, were added.

They might be back some time this year to do a solo concert. I hope that they will still visit Cebu in case this concert will really push through. Otherwise, I might need to save some bucks for me to watch it. I'm still a fan after all.

April 2012... The only thing I can remember that's significant  was my first year anniversary of being employed in Convergys and @a1official (A1's twitter account) followed me back on twitter. That's all I can remember.

May pagka-Jason Mraz ang vibe ng song. I just can't believe that it's Daniel Padilla singing. Ayos naman ang song itself at ang pagkakanta. Medyo laid back and masarap naman sya pakinggan. Okay naman ang video kaso I just can't connect on how he is singing, medyo di tumutugma sa song.

This song is really catchy at bagay din naman na si Toni Gonzaga ang kumanta. Creative ang lyrics at nakakatuwa. What I like about the song is, parang lumihis sya ng landas sa mga common love songs na naririnig natin. I think this song will be somehow successful like "This Guy's in Love with you Pare. Ayos din ang video, what would you expect from UP. Sana lang mas humanap pa sila ng mas presentable na panget para dun sa guy. Hehehe, may ganun naman di ba? May pangit na hindi nakakaasar ang mukha. Hahaha

Nice lyrics, knowing na si Soc Villanueva ang nagcompose. Maganda rin ang paginterpret ni Juris. Perfect Match, I think that's the best phrase to describe it. Powerful ang meaning ng song. The problem is, this is just not my cup of tea. Nice din ang video dahil may ginampanan si Juris sa story.

My thoughts:
Everytime Yeng sings, andun talaga ang emosyon and you can feel how sincere she is with singing and with the song itself. Tama lang ang pagka-upbeat ng kanta na bumagay naman kay Yeng. Medyo naguluhan lang ako sa video kasi sa computer game ang setting nya. Pero sa ending, medyo nagets ko na din.

Himig Handog PPop Love Songs

After a Year

I can't believe it's been a year already since that night when I have finally seen a1 performed live. That's really a night to remember since that's the first time I've seen a1 in person and that's been my dream ever since I became a fan of this band. This is just one of the reasons I'm thinking why I'm here in Cebu. I was not able to take a lot of pictures while they perform because my camera died the moment they started singing. Too bad. Anyway, the memories on that night will stay in my mind forever.

Boyce Avenue at Streamy Awards

I failed to wake up early so I wasn't able to catch Boyce Avenue perform at the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards. The Streamy Awards honor excellence in original online video programming and those who create it. It took place at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California. Boyce Avenue sang their, should I say, signature song "On My Way". It's also one of my favorite original songs by Boyce Avenue. Good thing someone uploaded the video. So here it goes. 2012 Chronicles: March in my Favor

Well,  last March 2012, the most significant thing that happened was when Mark Read followed me on twitter. That was March 6 to be exact. After that, I became a fan of twitter.

Also, I was able to watch the advanced screening of The Hunger Games last March 21. The Hunger Games is now one of my favorite movies and I'm really looking forward to seeing its sequel, Catching Fire which will be premiered some time this year.

2012: A1derful February

February 2012

This seems to be the best February I ever had and my second favorite month of 2012. It's because this month, my 10 year dream of seeing a1 in person finally came true. I can still remember how bothered I am thinking that a1 was just here in Cebu and I won't be able to see them. Thanks to internet, facebook and twitter. Researching is really powerful. That's how I found out that they would be having a gig in Magellan's Pub. The excitement and joy I felt that moment was unbelievable. I really do believe dreams come true and just don't lose hope.

Here's the poster of The Greatest Hits Tour - the concert of a1, Blue and Jeff Timmons of 98 degrees. Although I'm not able to watch the concert, I'm still happy I've seen a1 performed live.

2012 Chronicles: New Year with the Carrots

I was not able to spend the New Year at home, and so Christmas. It's really good to have friends. I spent the new year countdown with "Carrots and Friends" (that's how we call ourselves),  at Harold's Hotel. They are my workmates from Aegis PeopleSupport. After this, I went straight to the office to work on the first day of the year.

And yes I'm back. It's almost 3 months since my last post. Looks like the blog hiatus is now over. There are major events that I failed to blog last year. And since I'm back, I'll take a glimpse on the year 2012. I will try to remember all the memorable events every month. Time to test my memory again.
