Maganda naman yung kanta, medyo nabore lang ako pero ok naman sya. The lyrics is also meaningful. if I listen to this song like around 5 times, maybe I'll be able to like this song. But so far, I think this is really a good song.

My Thoughts:
The first time I heard this song, I know I'll like it... at totoo nga. Ganto yung mga kantang gusto ko pakinggan, very refreshing and light. I'm really amazed by musicians who can sing and write their own song. I don't think this song will win the contest but I know this song will go a long way.

I think I like this song. This is the best song para sa mga di makamove on. I like the lyrics too. I was impressed sa video. Kudos MINT College. The ending is really great, very unexpected. I thought nag-aaway lang yung couple but it's a different story pala. This video is something that you really need to watch from start to end.

My thoughts:
Everytime Yeng sings, andun talaga ang emosyon and you can feel how sincere she is with singing and with the song itself. Tama lang ang pagka-upbeat ng kanta na bumagay naman kay Yeng. Medyo naguluhan lang ako sa video kasi sa computer game ang setting nya. Pero sa ending, medyo nagets ko na din.

Himig Handog PPop Love Songs

After a Year

I can't believe it's been a year already since that night when I have finally seen a1 performed live. That's really a night to remember since that's the first time I've seen a1 in person and that's been my dream ever since I became a fan of this band. This is just one of the reasons I'm thinking why I'm here in Cebu. I was not able to take a lot of pictures while they perform because my camera died the moment they started singing. Too bad. Anyway, the memories on that night will stay in my mind forever.

Boyce Avenue at Streamy Awards

I failed to wake up early so I wasn't able to catch Boyce Avenue perform at the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards. The Streamy Awards honor excellence in original online video programming and those who create it. It took place at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California. Boyce Avenue sang their, should I say, signature song "On My Way". It's also one of my favorite original songs by Boyce Avenue. Good thing someone uploaded the video. So here it goes. Thank you very much to the uploader.

2012 Chronicles: March in my Favor

Well,  last March 2012, the most significant thing that happened was when Mark Read followed me on twitter. That was March 6 to be exact. After that, I became a fan of twitter.

Also, I was able to watch the advanced screening of The Hunger Games last March 21. The Hunger Games is now one of my favorite movies and I'm really looking forward to seeing its sequel, Catching Fire which will be premiered some time this year.

2012: A1derful February

February 2012

This seems to be the best February I ever had and my second favorite month of 2012. It's because this month, my 10 year dream of seeing a1 in person finally came true. I can still remember how bothered I am thinking that a1 was just here in Cebu and I won't be able to see them. Thanks to internet, facebook and twitter. Researching is really powerful. That's how I found out that they would be having a gig in Magellan's Pub. The excitement and joy I felt that moment was unbelievable. I really do believe dreams come true and just don't lose hope.

Here's the poster of The Greatest Hits Tour - the concert of a1, Blue and Jeff Timmons of 98 degrees. Although I'm not able to watch the concert, I'm still happy I've seen a1 performed live.

2012 Chronicles: New Year with the Carrots

I was not able to spend the New Year at home, and so Christmas. It's really good to have friends. I spent the new year countdown with "Carrots and Friends" (that's how we call ourselves),  at Harold's Hotel. They are my workmates from Aegis PeopleSupport. After this, I went straight to the office to work on the first day of the year.

And yes I'm back. It's almost 3 months since my last post. Looks like the blog hiatus is now over. There are major events that I failed to blog last year. And since I'm back, I'll take a glimpse on the year 2012. I will try to remember all the memorable events every month. Time to test my memory again.
