The Right Door
A year ago, I was looking at myself dressed in black and wearing my cap on. Only a magic wand is missing and I could be a self-proclaimed wizard. It was just like yesterday. It's the day when all the hardworks of our educational life has been paid off. The feeling was so ecstatic. We made it. We made it together. That last step in the ladder of education was so fulfilling. It has been almost 15 years perhaps that we spend our lives in conquering the challenges that hinder us to reach the final step. And on that final step, we thought it would be over, and I guess that's what the commencement was all about. That final step led us to a bunch of doors. Which door will I open? Or what door will open for me? I guess the mind boggling tests are not yet over. Yes, it's not yet over. Every door led you to another door. This time it's different. Every step won't take you to the next step. It's like a steep and narrow ladder without handrails. One wrong move, you may fall. But once you get up, you don't need to take a step one at a time to advance.
Now, one year after that very day you reached the peak of the ladder, have you chosen the right door? I'm asking myself, didI make the right choice?
Looking back on the ladder that you almost spent your life with, what have you learned? One step will take you one step higher. All that we learn? That's what we need for us to get to the next step, until we reach the final step. Now, it's not only what you have learned that you will use to pick up the right door.
Back to zero. No scores, no grades, no reviews, no turning back. All are surprises. You are your own teacher, and it's full of practical exams. Cheating has no more use. It's all up to you.
Going back to the question. Have you chosen the right door? Well, I've realized that all the doors are meant for you to choose from. All the doors will still lead to a common door. It's just the way on how you will reach the final door. It may not be easy at start, but you'll learn from it. So there's no wrong or right choices. Parting ways
If there's something that I don't want to happen, it's parting ways. I don't know what's in goodbye why is it so hard to do. Anyway, we all have our own roads of life we need to follow. You'll meet somebody who will take part in your journey, but there's no assurance that they'll be with you until you reach the extremity of the road that you're tracking. And goodbye's inevitable.
It's indeed the saddest word that you'll say to someone who's already been a part of you. Yet, we still need to let go. We, as individuals has our own purpose in life, and we need to reach the finish line by ourselves, bringing what we have learned and all the memories we spent with the people who helped and guided us on our way until the end.

Homecoming
I was not able to post more about Kuya Jayson's homecoming. I was not able to get online every night like I used to before he arrived. Well, I'm glad that he was safe when he arrived. Basically, he went home to finish an unfinished business and I hope he was able to resolve that even though the consequences were not that good. It's a learning experience and I believe he learned from it.
I was hoping that I could spend sometime with him, a bonding time perhaps even for just a day. But because I've just started my training, and it's night shift, we weren't able to do so. I know he has plans of going out with me, but we have to put my availability into consideration. In fact, I would like to join him at Alcoy when he invited me.
I was worried because his departure would be on April 12, and the only date that I would be very available was last April 11. That's a day before his departure. I was not mistaken. I received a message from him and he asked me to go to their boarding house. Then we visited our former college instructor, sir Jan and he's with Throy, our former classmate. Then we went to KFC to eat right after some conversations.
Now, it's parting ways. My bespren left me his ring, it's a friendship ring and I would surely treasure that. I always value all the things that my best friends give me. I remembered all the things my first best friend, Divine, gave me. I kept even the food that she gave me. Aside from the ring, he also gave me a sort of a chain-like bracelet, which is in fact that's what I would like to have eversince; a chain-like necklace and 2 t-shirts that I think I can't wear because it's too small for me I guess. Well, they're still treasures, right? I wish I could also give him something. I don't know either what to give. Aside from the fact that I don't have enough money that time, I don't know if he still needs something because he can get what he wanted. What I can only give is true friendship and that's the best thing I can give.

Pakealamera!
Nakakaasar talaga kapag may nakekealam sa mga gamit mo.. Lalo na sa boarding house..
We're supposed to transfer room. We're currently at the 2nd floor and we're just waiting for the other boarder at the 1st floor to leave so we can transfer. Actually, we will decide not to transfer because that room is too small for us. We are four and our current room is just good for us. But when I arrived from work, I'm very aggravated to find out that all our things have been transferred to our new room without PRIOR NOTICE! Yes, without any consent. Who will be happy for that. Our landlady did the thing. Even though she's the manager of the boarding house, I believe she still doesn't have the right to get our things without even informing us ahead. I'm really pissed. I know it's a great favor, because I won't be exhausted transferring them. But the thing is, those are our personal things and we're responsible for them. What if something lost or broken, will she be liable for it? Of course she won't. *Sigh*
Anyway, there's nothing I can do about that. The new room is really small for us. Really small. I'll spend only an hour here at the cafe because I need to spare time in fixing my things up.

Christian Bautista - Live!
Asia's Pop Idol, and my personal idol as well, Christian Bautista was here in Cebu yesterday, April 6, 2009. He promoted his latest album "Captured", and he performed some songs from his album and from his past albums at the Entertainment Plaza, SM City Cebu. I've been his fan ever since the Star in a Million days where he was one of the finalists. Though he didn't won the competition, he's the most popular contestant, Star in a Million ever had. His first single, the phenomenal hit "The Way you Look at Me" brought him to stardom. The song became popular not only here in the Philippines but also in some parts of Southeast Asia, such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, giving him the title Asia's Pop Idol. I really like his songs and the way he sings. Yesterday was amazing. I've always wanted to watch him perform live, and yesterday's the day I've been waiting for. I've been able to see him up close. Better than what I've seen at ASAP.

April 3rd Half Priced day
Third of the month again.. As usual, restocking time. But since I've started playing Ragnarok Online, I've not been able to spend more time to Neopets. Before, I'm spending over 100,000 NP for this day. Right now, I've spent 40,000 NP more or less and it's because I'm busy leveling my character up at Ragnarok. Anyway, I was able to buy cool items. However, Dr. Sloth ruined my day. He actually took 20,000 NP. That's a big loss.
