Sinalubong ko ang Christmas sa office, taking in calls. Pero may buffet naman kaya para na ring may noche buena. I really want to spend my christmas with my family because this is supposed to be the christmas na complete kami. Anyway, call of duty e. I'm just looking on the other side. Nagmalling na lang ako then I watched "Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat". The movie is very funny. Nakatawa rin ako.. Hehe..

Di naman nagparamdam mga besprens ko.. yaan na natin.. di naman kailangan ng ebidensya para masabi mong naaalala ka nila.. heheh..

Converse Sale

The Converse sale of the century at the SM Trade hall is the much awaited sale event of the year. That's 40% - 80% off. Yes, makakasave ka talaga. Kaso wala akong nakitang maganda. Unlike the past years, makakabili pa ko ng TShirt and short with the price not more than 200 pesos. Ngaun, 240 pesos ata ang pinakamababa. Kaya wala ako nabiling apparel. What I bought was another backpack, worth 390 pesos. Medyo costly, pero the original price is 790 pesos, so nakasave pa rin ako. I'm looking for the same bag that I bought last year. Hiningi kasi saken ung bag na yun kaya I want a replacement for that. Unfortunately, walang available na black. Plan ko din sana bumili ng shoes, kaso ala na budget e.. Got to save.. hehe

This day, the AOL SMS Christmas party was concluded on Cafe Cappriccio. Good food, but I didn't eat a lot. Medyo weird ung mga food e. Pero masarap ung salad. I have fun watching the CSSes and the TLs performances. It was a good laugh.

The day after my birthday, nagkasakit ako. After ng shift, ang sakit sakit ng ulo ko. Pagdating ko sa bahay, higa agad. I'm not feeling well that time. I got a fever, colds and headache. Nahihilo rin ako. Then, I'm hesitant if I'll go to work. In the end, I decided to report to work, medyo ok na naman e. Then pumunta ako sa clinic. Binigyan ako ng med then after 1 hour bumalik ako. Nawala na lagnat ko. Effective pala ang advil. hehehe.. kaya ngaun, since I'm now ok, balik na naman sa dating gawi. Puyatan.. hehehe

I just slept the whole day.. Supposedly ililibre ko ung mga former co-OJTs ko sa Lexmark. Kaso may mga kanya kanya silang lakad.. Kaya ayun, di natuloy.. (buti na lang.. hehe)

My family called me. Dami pala tao sa bahay.. Naghanda talaga sila.. Sana andun ako..

I remembered my last birthday.. First time kong naghanda para sa sarili ko.. Syempre sa tulong ng aking mga co-Engineers. Dami namin pagkain nun.. Tapos inuman after. Ayun.. nalasing ako.. medyo emotional ako nun.. Kahit na anjan ung mga kaibigan ko, I felt alone pa rin.. Ewan.. Siguro dala lang ng homesickness. Tapos ung taong hinihintay kong bumati saken, di nagparamdam.. heheh.. sobrang drama no.. Tapos bumaha daw luha ko.. Di ko alam na un na yung nangyare.. hehe.. kakahiya tuloy..

Twilight

I've watched the Twilight movie with my boardmates. Usap-usapan kasi tong movie na to so I gave it a try. Saka the main character, Robert Pattison as Edward Cullen, also played the role of Cedric Diggory sa Harry Potter and the Goble of Fire. This is a story of a vampire who fell in love with a human.. Medyo ok naman ang story.. Ang movie, medyo bitin pa rin.. Wala pa masyadong excitement, not what I expected. Pero I'm looking forward on the sequel, "New Moon". Baka maganda na movie nyan.. The best pa rin Harry Potter. Pagkatapos ng movie, eto lang nasabi ko.. "Yun lang yun??"

The film ends showing Victoria at the prom watching the pair together, ready to seek revenge for the murder of James.

Sobrang boring sa boarding house so I decided to watch the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still". I've seen the trailer somewhere and I thought this is an interesting movie to watch. Keanu Reeves, as "Klaatu" is the main character of the movie. He came to save the earth from the human race. Sabi nga nya, "if Earth die, you will die, but if you die, Earth will survive." Dr. Helen, portrayed by Jennifer Connelly, believed that we can change. Then naconvince naman nya si Klaatu. Sa ending, he sacrificed himself para madestroy ung mga ant-or-fly-like creatures na part ni Gort, ung parang robot. Hehehe..

My thoughts about the movie.. Hmm.. Medyo nagsisisi ako na pinanood ko to sa cinema. Sana bumili na lang ako ng pirated na DVD.. Nasasayangan ako sa pera ko.. E ang wala kasi masyado action.. Puro kwento lang din.. maganda naman effects pero walang excitement e.. Nakatulog nga ako e..

Klaatu saves him, then sacrifices his physical form to stop Gort by walking through the nanites to the sphere and touching it. His actions cause the sphere to emit a massive EMP which fries Gort, saving humanity, but at the price of all of Earth's technology becoming useless. Afterward, the sphere leaves Earth. Jacob's last comment might hint that Klaatu did not die but rather was a part of the sphere's energy.

Saturday. Last day of our morning shift. I'll miss this shift. Queueing na sa Monday.. Hayy..

Today is Retchel's birthday, my former fellow OJT at Lexmark. Treat ni Gestoni sa KFC.. Nagpakabusog kami nina Retchel, Jofil, Gestoni and Heart sa KFC Bucket Meal.. Love the brownies.. Sayang alang picture..

Celebration of the Job well Done.. then came what I feared the most

After the defense, my batchmates decided to celebrate our success in our design projects. That means we'll be graduating and they don't want this day to pass without celebration. We went straight ahead to the boarding house where we worked with our project. As expected, they will drink again. I promised myself that if we passed the defense, I'll go to church afterwards and so I did.

When I arrived, the drinking session had already begun. An hour had passed when they decided to go out and have some fun. I don't know where we're going until we arrived at the place where temptation dwells. I really don't want to go with them, and I've been to church hours ago. But they will get disappointed at me.

Inside that dark tavern, fun and enjoyment awaits us, or should I say, "them". There were dancing nocturnals that only got themselves with them. I knew then that moments later, the limelight will be focused on me again.

Then, my classmates hired the most perverted nocturnal in that tavern. What do you expect will happen? Of course, they want me to penetrate the lost worlds. But I don't want to. I don't want to lose my integrity just because of that very petty request. They say it's just for fun, and I'm a man, it's alright.. Yeah right. But not everything done by the great majority should be done by everybody. I tried to ride in at first just to deal with them, but they pushed me to the limit which I think is not right anymore. What I did is to just sit still as if nobody's around. I don't care what they would think of me. As long as I knew myself that I made the right decision. If they can't understand or they think I'm someone I'm not, well, maybe they don't really know me or they just care to have fun, at my expense. Anyway, that's not the kind of friends I wanted to have. If they only knew that. But they can't open their stiff brains to understand that not everybody are the same.. Not all the things that they do should be done by everyone around them. Then moments later, they decided to go home.

For sure, they got disappointed. I'm sure they made speculations that I'm someone they thought I am because of what I have done and how I reacted. Well, I don't care. I don't need friends who can't understand their friend.

Friendship is not just about having fun. I just want them to learn a little more about respect -- Respect to what others want and don't, because we are all different. I don't want to be somebody I'm not.

ROBO - CART

Our main requirement for graduation was our design project. We'll apply all the concepts and lessons we have acquired in the entire Computer Engineering course. We called our design projet 'ROBO-CART'. It's like a pushcart/shopping cart that will just follow its user instead of pushing it. We used IR LEDs as the transmitter and photodiode as the receiver.

Yamz did the electronic side of the project.. Wow I'm amazed, he made this project running. Kuya Jayson did most of the work with the prototype, not to mention the budget that he provided. And I did the software part of the project, I made the program and wrote it using the Assembly Language. It's not an easy language to understand. In fact, I just used all the basic concepts. I also need to understand it by myself. Good thing, I've written the right codes although it's not perfect and there's so much to improve.

I had a hard time writing the correct code for the direction of the cart. It's hard to control the cart's direction whether it will turn right or left and when will the turn stop when it reached the maximum turning point. To make it stop, we needed to create another set of circuit that will detect if the maximum turning point was achieved and will stop the turn eventually. And it worked. Now the problem is how turn the controller back to the center. Unfornutately, I failed to write the correct code for that. Now, the fallback plan has been decided to be used. And that's the manual turning of the controller - what a pathetic move. But it worked!!!

Well it's not easy to make a running project. With limited time, limited resources and limited knowledge, we don't know what we need to make this project successful. Thanks for all those who helped us and imparted their knowledge. Thanks to TEKNICA and ADVANCED ELECTRONICS - our source of the electronic equipments that we need.

This project is not 100% working. I think, 70% of the project is working properly. We passed though. Thanks to Sir Jan!!!

Hope I'm back..

I really missed blogging.. It's been forever since I have posted again..

My schedule by the end of the January until March has been hectic that's why I haven't been able to post again and update this blog.. **NINGAS KUGON kasi e** .. And that's the last semester and the last few months of my educational life, so I had spare most of my time finishing the ROBO-CART, our design project.. Gumana naman, for the last minute..

Then there came the final defense, after finding out that we passed, we celebrated but not the way I thought it should be.. (nu kaya nangyare..)

Then the recollection.. well I felt I was renewed.. (but not for long)

GRADUATION!!! (One of the best thing that happened in my life)

Back to work.. (I missed this)

Island Escapade.. (di naman kami kumpleto)

End of Contract.. Back to Manila.. (Kaso wala pera)

Family Reunion .. (At last.. kumpleto na kami)

The bestfriends reunited.. (It broke my heart..)
